DRAMA

This exciting collaboration between Miracle Theatre, English Touring Opera, including Ben Luxon and local community choirs is a heady mix of epic theatre, multimedia magic and top notch singing!
West Cornwall 1890. The shareholders are throwing good money after bad down their once glorious tin mine. Just when they manage to hoodwink an outsider into investing in the faililng enterprise, a troupe of windswept actors arrives in town to perform Beethoven's Fidelio.
As these two very different worlds collide, love stories unfold and melodrama spills over into everyday life as the villagers and actors seize an oportunity to transform thier lives...

We saw this at The Hall for Cornwall last week,.

  2. Gary: A typical Cornish story told in an interesting way. Thanks for looking.

  3. It sounds like an entertaining play. Unfortunately, in Ontario the choice of scripts for theatrical productions is usually pretty grim -usually about disturbed people in disturbing situations. Neither entertaining, nor inspiring. Enjoy your dramas!

  4. Sounds like a very interesting play. I haven't been to a play in ages. My daughter-in-law performs at local theater groups when she is accepted for a role, the last one we saw was a musical as she has a very pretty voice.

This is my third visit to one of your blogs. I am thoroughly enjoying making the rounds of them and have left messages on those too.
